GVA Search is proud to be partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing international FMCG organisation in Hampshire, which is looking to recruit a 12-18 month FTC Supply Finance Manager. This is a critical role within the organisation, playing a pivotal part in enhancing growth and performance across their African operations. The position will be instrumental in propelling the company''s expansion, with ambitious plans to triple the business size within the next five years. Key responsibilities include establishing a manufacturing facility in Nigeria, fostering growth investments in Nigeria (the primary African market), and exploring new markets across West Africa.Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will join a dynamic team driven by resilience and collaboration. As a rapidly expanding entity, they embrace challenges and strive for continuous improvement, aiming to expand their market presence and deliver high-quality products to Nigerian consumers. Every team member contributes significantly to both short-term and long-term goals.Role Responsibilities and Requirements:

Collaborate with commercial managers to prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring compliance with group reporting requirements and timelines.Provide performance reports on marketing budget utilisation and commitments.Analyze and review discounts and promotional costs (actual vs forecast vs last year), identifying risks and opportunities.Review marketing costs and overheads (actual vs forecast vs last year), highlighting risks and opportunities.Manage overheads to ensure judicious spend and provide visibility to management to mitigate forecast risks.Set up suppliers on SAP supporting Africa Supply and the Apogee 2 project, coordinating with the payments team to ensure timely payments.Prepare and post journal entries for operations, distribution, marketing, and overhead costs as required.Conduct balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., accruals, receivables) and follow up on discrepancies.Establish and deliver best-in-class financial reporting for the new African Supply business.Provide detailed financial planning for Africa Supply''s short-term results and long-term strategies.Manage P/L and working capital for Africa Supply, supporting transaction processing as needed.Coordinate and maintain budgeting, reporting, and financial forecasting processes for Africa Supply.Serve as the financial analyst for the Apogee 2 project, tracking spend vs budget, reporting financials, and supporting related transactions.This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual seeking a strategic role in a thriving business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, capable of operating in a fast-paced environment, with a strong desire to improve operational efficiencies.
