About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for someone eager to inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations with strong subject knowledge
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress regularly
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and achievement
• Collaborate with science department colleagues and contribute to curriculum development
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress

Qualifications andamp; Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, including KS4 and ideally KS5
• Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and familiarity with GCSE and A-Level specifications
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to raising pupil attainment and fostering a love for science
• Ability to work well within a team and contribute to department initiatives
