Business Development Representative - Asset Based Lending

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our client''s dynamic team. This role involves prospecting, identifying, and engaging potential clients, with a focus on providing tailored financial solutions. A strong financial acumen is essential, as the role requires analysing financial statements (balance sheets and PandL statements) to assess client viability. Key Responsibilities: Identify and reach out to potential clients through strategic networking and outreach. Develop a strong understanding of the company, including asset-based lending and credit risk solutions. Analyze financial statements (balance sheets and PandL statements) to assess company financial health and funding options. Work closely with the Risk and Finance teams to evaluate client creditworthiness. Collaborate with senior sales executives to create tailored financial solutions. Maintain pipeline activity in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and deal progression. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including CFOs and finance executives. Stay informed on market trends and the competitive landscape in commercial finance. What We re Looking For: 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or financial services. Strong ability to read and interpret financial statements, including balance sheets and PandL reports. A background in finance, accounting, or commercial lending is highly preferred.
