Senior Project Manager (Healthcare) - Real Estate at Turner and Townsend, Manchester office. Supports clients to deliver projects and programmes in the Healthcare sector within the Real Estate division.Responsibilities
Lead project management commissions, end-to-end service delivery for large or complex projects.Act as day-to-day client interface, ensure objectives met, deliver to time and cost targets and quality standards.Project management activities: strategic advice at conception, establish the overall success criteria, plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment, establish project governance, produce a detailed project plan, advise on resource procurement, lead and facilitate the cross-functional project team, monitor performance with KPIs, manage change control, monitor project finances, and maintain regular client communications and reporting. Interact with the client and other consultants at all project stages.Scope
Senior Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale; typical value up to £40m. When advisory work is involved (e.g., urban regeneration funding), the overall project size may be larger.Project Management, To Include
Advising at a strategic level at project conception, including recommended approaches to achieve client objectivesEstablishing the overall success criteria for the project (time, cost, technical and performance parameters)Planning for and managing quality, safety, health and environment issuesEstablishing effective project governance, processes and systems for the projectProducing the detailed project planAdvising on procurement of resourcesLeading and facilitating the cross-functional project teamMonitoring performance with KPI-based improvementsManaging the change control processMonitoring and advising on project financesManaging the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communicationsProducing formal project progress and other reportsInterfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stagesQualifications
Degree qualified in relevant disciplineProfessionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar)Proven experience managing Healthcare projects; consultancy experience preferred, candidates from contracting backgrounds consideredSeniority level
