Typically this person will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of yacht refit and repair work on prestige sailing yachts. The role will involve structural repairs, interior fit-out, exterior joinery, composite laminating and fabrication, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities of: Carry out structural repairs and refit work on sailing yachts. Complete interior fit-out and exterior joinery tasks. Undertake GRP laminating and composite repairs. Assess vessel condition and plan repair activities. Work from technical drawings and engineering specifications. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Support lift-outs, yard operations and routine vessel maintenance. Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other marine trades. Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and health and safety. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience as a Shipwright or Boatbuilder within the marine industry.
