Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor (Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeships)

Eden Brown are seeking a skilled Health and Social Care Assessor to join the team at a leading further education college in Lancashire, supporting learners on Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeship standards.

Role Overview:
As a Health and Social Care Assessor, you will assess and support learners through their apprenticeship journey, ensuring high standards of achievement and professional development. You will work closely with learners and employers to deliver engaging training and robust assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Assess and support learners on Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care apprenticeship standards.
*Plan and deliver training, assessment, and feedback sessions tailored to individual learner needs.
*Maintain accurate learner records using electronic portfolios (OneFile or equivalent).
*Liaise with employers and internal colleagues to ensure learner progress and compliance with apprenticeship standards.
*Provide constructive guidance to learners to help them develop skills, knowledge, and confidence.
*Keep up-to-date with industry best practice, regulatory requirements, and sector changes.

Requirements:
* Relevant Level 3 or above industry related qualification
*Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
*Proven experience assessing and training learners on Level 2 and Level Health and Social Care apprenticeship standards.
*Familiarity with electronic portfolio systems such as OneFile (or similar).
*Strong knowledge of assessment practices, standards, and learner support strategies.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire learners.
*Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple learners and deadlines effectively.
*Digital competency, including Microsoft Office and OneDrive for record-keeping and communication.
