You will be involved in pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying (QS) or Cost and Commercial Management services, including estimating, cost planning, procurement, cost assurance, and financial management of projects of varying size and complexity. Depending on your seniority, you may lead QS projects, mentor staff, contribute to bid writing, or represent WSP at industry events.Your Team

You will be part of our Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), comprising around 400 colleagues across the UK, working on building and infrastructure projects in various sectors. You will be based in one of our Northern regional offices: Stockton-on-Tees, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Leeds, or Manchester.Candidate Requirements

Essential

MRICS, Assoc RICS, or working towards a professional qualificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge and experience in QS/Cost and Commercial ManagementManagement or project leadership experience at senior level (if applicable)Desirable

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexible approach to workloadAdditional relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CICES, APM, AcostE)Experience in public sector or heavy industry projectsAbility to travel to various sites and officesDegree or higher education qualificationOrganizational and time management skillsKnowledge of specialist software (CostX, CEMAR)Experience with NEC Contracts and other industry-standard contractsExperience in sectors like Highways, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, etc.If you don’t meet all criteria, apply anyway; we value diverse experiences.Why WSP?
