This is an excellent opportunity for a flood risk professional looking to develop their technical skills while working on a varied range of projects across Wales and the wider UK.The Role:Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategiesUndertaking flood risk assessments for residential, commercial and infrastructure projectsSupporting surface water and drainage design, including SuDSCarrying out hydrology and hydraulic assessmentsLiaising with clients, local authorities, Natural Resources Wales and other stakeholdersProducing technical reports and supporting planning applicationsContributing to flood alleviation and sustainable drainage projectsWorking closely with wider civil engineering and environmental teamsThe Candidate:Around 3 years'' experience within flood risk, drainage or water consultancyDegree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related disciplineExperience producing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategiesKnowledge of UK flood risk policy and relevant guidanceExperience with hydraulic modelling software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW or InfoWorks ICM would be beneficialStrong technical report writing and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamThis is a great ..... full job details .....
