As a key part of this specialist team, the successful candidate will be helping to support the delivery of outstanding personalised learning opportunities. We want people who can assist learners to experience all aspects of college life.Responsibilities

Support the delivery of personalised learning opportunities and help learners experience all aspects of college life.Work with students who have diverse special learning needs and contribute to a supportive learning environment.Provide personal care support as part of care training, including hoisting and feeding support where required (including those with feeding tubes).Administer medications where required (including Buccal Midazolam and Epilepsy medicines) in line with policy and training.Communicate effectively with learners and the teaching team; remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process.Be flexible and work well as part of a team to support learner provision.Qualifications and Skills

Qualified and experienced First Aider with substantial care training.Experience of working with students who have diverse special learning needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Support and Development
