Senior Project Manager - Energy

Overview
Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Energy to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of energy projects across the UK, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that support the energy transition.Responsibilities
Lead projects through the full lifecycle from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout, while guiding high-performing project teams.Build and maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders; ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high standard of quality.Proactively identify and mitigate risks; manage project budgets and resources effectively.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project managers on proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates, and forecasting.Work with NEC contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.Qualifications
Degree in a relevant field; APMP qualifications are advantageous.Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector, including project setup and financial monitoring processes.Experience coordinating with Project Managers for proposals, change orders, status reports and forecasting.Experience working with NEC contracts is essential.Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment; strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Why Join Us
