Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a leading organisation based in Doncaster, in their search for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join the business on a 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled payroll professional with strong leadership capability to take ownership of a busy payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of multiple payrolls, while driving process improvements and supporting system developments. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the timely and accurate execution of all payrolls and ensure completion of all associated payments Manage, motivate and support the day-to-day operations of the payroll team, allocating resources effectively Lead, train and develop a team of administrators responsible for weekly and monthly payrolls Ensure full compliance with all PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments and pension legislation Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives Take responsibility for system upgrades, testing and implementation Support the Group Payroll Manager with ad hoc tasks and projects as required Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience leading or supervising a payroll team within a fast-paced environment (ideally retail or manufacturing) Minimum 5 years'' payroll experience Excellent working knowledge of statutory payroll legislation (PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, pensions etc.) Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ..... full job details .....
