Lookers Mercedes Benz of Wolverhampton is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. Role involves carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs. You will report to the aftersales manager and receive ongoing support to perform to the best of your ability. We offer potential career progression and training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid and Electric training.Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm; Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm; Saturday – Rota basis 8:30am – 12:00pm. Salary: £45,000 OTE (including £28,000 to £39,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus).Responsibilities

Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technologyConducting vehicle services in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requestsCarrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customerWarranty repairs are per the manufacturer''s guidelines and relevant write up is completeTaking the customer''s vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectifiedComplete all relevant paperwork to a high standardQualifications

Prior experience as a mechanicFull UK driving licenceNVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualificationExperience with Mercedes brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided
