Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Northamptonshire Salary: 50,000 per year + overtime Hours: shift basis The Role We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Northamptonshire site on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining, fault finding, and improving a wide range of production and plant equipment. Key Responsibilities Fault finding, servicing, and maintenance of: Production machinery and control systems PLC and computer-controlled systems Plant services and electrical distribution systems Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on: Process systems Safety systems Electrical distribution Testing electrical installations using appropriate test and measurement equipment Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics Supporting and delivering small electrical projects from concept through to commissioning Project Work Includes Designing simple electrical control systems Producing electrical drawings Ordering components and materials Building and installing control systems Commissioning new or modified equipment Skills and Experience Required Recognised electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, BTEC, CandG, or NVQ Level 3) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience with production plant systems, including: PLCs VSDs and soft starters Weighing equipment Sensors and process control systems Experience with scheduled and preventative ..... full job details .....
