Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer Precision Engineering High-Tolerance Manufacturing A well-established precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector with CMM programming capability to support its quality function within a high-precision environment. The Role This role involves carrying out inspection activities across incoming, in-process and final inspection, alongside programming and operating CMMs using Metrologic and Metrosoft software. You will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer and engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities Inspect precision components using manual and CMM inspection methods Program, set and run CMMs using Metrologic and Metrosoft Interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GDandT) Complete first-off, in-process and final inspection reports Ensure accurate completion of quality documentation and records Support root cause analysis and corrective actions where required Maintain calibration awareness and inspection equipment care Promote and maintain quality and continuous improvement standards Support and guide production teams on quality requirements Skills and Experience Essential: Experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision machining environment Proven CMM programming experience using Metrologic and/or Metrosoft Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Good understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques ..... full job details .....
