We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and respected engineering and manufacturing organisation. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a dual electrical and mechanical bias, looking for a stable day-shift position with genuine long-term prospects. Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a range of production machinery and equipment across CNC machining, welding and assembly operations. Your work will play an important role in minimising downtime and keeping the production operation running safely and efficiently. The role will involve planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and general engineering support across the site. You will be comfortable diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults, carrying out effective repairs and responding quickly to production issues. The successful candidate will have previous maintenance experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems. Experience supporting CNC machinery, welding equipment and assembly operations would be highly advantageous. PLC knowledge and the ability to fault find within control systems would also be advantageous.
