Building Safety Manager

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Building Safety Manager-to work with one of our Housing Association clients in Kent
What the job will be doing
- Independently minded, whilst always following best practice procedures and exercising good judgement and initiative in problem solving.
- Will be able to interrogate information from various sources and collate comprehensive reports.
- Proficient in disseminating data from as built documents and drawings.
- Skilled in the review of Fire Risk Assessments and good knowledge of Approved Document B.-
- Able to create reports on safety of buildings.
- Able to work to tight guidelines and targets.
- Proficient at working in a variety of complex tasks simultaneously.
- Able to be able to communicate with professional surveyors/ engineers when carrying building investigations or when developing strategies
- Understanding of structural safety and design.
What you will need
- Qualification in construction, maintenance or related discipline.
- Relevant qualification in fire safety management or an asset compliance discipline
- NEBOSH General Certificate/Diploma
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
- A relevant level 3 or above Fire Safety qualification accredited by the IFE or IFSM or equivalent
