Class 1 Driver (4 on 4 off) – Newton Aycliffe

Velocity recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Driver on behalf of our client based in Newton Aycliffe. This is an excellent opportunity offering a temp-to-perm position after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

The Role:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Average 12-hour shifts
• Start times available between:
  • 16:00 – 18:00
  • 00:00 – 02:00
• Collecting loaded trailers from Warrington
• Delivering to retail stores
• Involves cage work and some handball

Pay Rate:

• £202.98 per shift

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for minimum 1 year
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Comfortable with physical work including handball
