Data DesignerOur client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Data Designer to be based at their client''s office in London, UK.This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 3 days per week .This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAPDay rate: Competitive Market rateThe Data Designer role supports the business by deciding what data should be ingested from source systems into the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and how this data should be transformed to make it suitable for consumption in reporting or other downstream systems.The role is accountable for: analysing and documenting source systems'' data as needed to meet the business requirements; determining the method and frequency for ingesting the data into the data warehouse; defining and documenting any data mapping, harmonisation, derivations, calculations, or other transformations required to make the data easy to use by the business; ensuring that the target data model is coherent and works in conjunction with the other data models in the data warehouse.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning data warehouse solutions driven by business demand.Understanding difficult solution requirements, working with the business to clarify them if necessary.Identifying and documenting the possible data sources that may be required and analyse/profile the data they contain; working with the source system and/or business experts to understand how the business processes create and update ..... full job details .....
