HR Assistant Job OverviewA well-established manufacturing business is seeking an HR Assistant to support its busy HR and Payroll function based in South Wales (commutable from Cardiff, Newport, and surrounding areas). This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for HR administration and employee relations to develop within a supportive team.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, Training Manager, and Payroll teamMonitor and report on employee absenceSupport the onboarding process for new startersEnsure payroll changes and amendments are accurately processedTrack probationary periods and issue relevant documentationAdd new starters to the HR system (HRIS)Draft offer letters, contracts, and general HR correspondenceMinute meetings including disciplinaries, grievances, and welfare reviewsCo-ordinate HR meetings and manage diariesMaintain and update employee records HR Assistant Job RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong IT skillsHigh attention to detailCollaborative team playerExperience in a HR Assistant or similar role would be beneficialCIPD Level 3 or working towards is desirable but not essential HR Assistant Salary and Benefits 24,500 per annumFull-Time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (flexibility required for occasional early starts/late finishes)33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Bennett and Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this ..... full job details .....
