-40k - -60k + OTE

Company Overview

Our client is a leading B2B media and events company serving the financial services sector across Europe. With a reputation for delivering high-quality content, events, and marketing solutions to asset managers and professional investors, they are now expanding into a new commercial vertical focused on the sell-side and trading ecosystem.



Role Summary

The client is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth across the sell-side and trading segment, including service providers, liquidity providers, exchanges, law firms, data vendors, and related platforms.

This role also involves building and monetising a new audience of buy-side traders, creating opportunities to connect this group with sell-side participants through tailored media, content, and event-based solutions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow commercial relationships with sell-side firms (market makers, exchanges, legal/data/index providers)

  • Sell multi-channel marketing and event solutions including sponsorships, digital campaigns, content packages, and advertising

  • Build and nurture a new community of buy-side trading professionals and identify monetisation opportunities

  • Work closely with internal teams to align audience development and messaging with commercial goals

  • Identify client needs, manage full sales cycle, and contribute to new product development



Candidate Profile

  • 3-6 years'' experience in B2B sales, commercial media, or financial services

  • Experience working with clients in capital markets, trading, or related financial ecosystems preferred

  • Track record of consultative selling across multi-product solutions (media, events, content)

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Organised, entrepreneurial, and motivated by growth opportunities
