Finance, Benefit and Debt Advisor
Key Responsibilities: Assist offenders with financial issues through capacity-building, personal finance management, debt repayment plans, and access to benefits or third-sector support Work with participants in prison settings to help them access benefits and resolve debt issues. Provide personal spending advice and budgetary skills training. Communicate with utility suppliers, creditors, banks, and credit unions. Develop positive relationships with participants to create action plans. Adapt support to service user learning styles (face-to-face, telephony). Ensure progress by following up on service user actions.
