The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with ASD, helping them access learning and engage in classroom activities. You will implement tailored strategies to support the child''s academic, social and emotional development while encouraging independence and confidence. You will build positive relationships, monitor progress and help create a calm and structured learning environment. The successful candidate will be patient, adaptable and committed to supporting children with SEN. Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential.
