Field Service Engineer  (Mechanical)

Liverpool

£35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime (1.5x) + Van + Training + Progression

Are you a mechanically skilled Engineer with experience in field service, maintenance, or similar environments, looking for a stable role with a growing, family-run company offering training and progression?

In this role, you will carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on a range of equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide excellent customer service while working independently across your local patch.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Mobile Engineer with strong mechanical skills, looking for a hands-on role with overtime, training, and progression into supervisory positions.

The Role

• Service, maintain, and repair equipment on-site
• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs
• Travel to customer sites across the North West region
• Complete service reports and maintain high service standards
• Field-based role (Liverpool patch)

The Person

• Mechanical engineering background (NVQ Level 3 preferred)
• Experience in field service, plant, automotive, or similar
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence required)
