Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our growing team based in Whilton. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in the field while supporting office-based technical work. The role is approximately 70% site-based and 30% office-based, offering a diverse and engaging workload.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake site investigations including soil and groundwater sampling, in-situ testing, and logging of boreholes and trial pits.Supervise subcontractors and liaise with clients and site personnel.Assist in the preparation of Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments and factual/interpretative reports.Support contamination risk assessments, ground gas and groundwater monitoring, and laboratory scheduling.Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and environmental regulations on-site.Contribute to data analysis, report writing, and project documentation in the office.Maintain accurate field records and project logs.RequirementsBSc or MSc in Environmental Science, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to sites.Some prior experience (e.g., ..... full job details .....
