Cardiff Family Advice and Support is an innovative and progressive service within the directorate of Children''s Services in Cardiff Council. Accredited with a Families First Quality Award, the service provides high quality information, advice and assistance for children, young people, families and professionals across the city. The service utilises a family centred, strengths based and inclusive approach, to identify the most appropriate support that will meet the wellbeing needs of both individuals and the family as a whole. The teams within the service work collaboratively with a range of professionals and partners to ensure support is at the right level and at the right time. We are seeking to appoint a Grade 7 Family Help Team Leader who will lead, develop and support a team of Family Help Advisors to deliver bespoke early intervention and prevention support to families referred to the team. The postholder will liaise and communicate with a range of service users, including families and professionals, and will also work alongside the Service Manager to support the continued development and quality of service delivery.
