Mental Health Support Worker Location - Bessacarr, Doncaster £12.60 per hour Role Description Mental Health Support Worker Gray Healthcare are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers within the Bessacarr area of Doncaster to support a gentleman in his 20''s who has a diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Mild to Moderate Depressive Episode who be living independently in his own home receiving 1:1 support 24 hours a day. The gentleman we will be supporting has a good sense of humour, enjoys outdoor walks, cinema and board games. He will be supported by a female only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights. We are recruiting drivers only for this role as the individual we support will have a mobility vehicle to access the community. Mental Health Support Worker Required Skills and Experience Full UK Driving License Essential. Social care experience, ideally within mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with Schizophrenia. Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities. Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging. Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments. You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months.
