Key Responsibilities Help maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment Clean kitchens, associated areas, refrigerators, and food stores to required standards. Carry out deep cleaning of floors, wall surfaces, and catering equipment (e.g., fryers, ovens, bain-maries) Wash pots, pans, utensils, and crockery used by staff and patients. Deliver patient meals, ensuring food is transported safely and on time Working across two outlets in Harrogate and provide a delivery service to Ripon Hospital Unload and unpack deliveries, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation. Ensure food waste is disposed of correctly and stored in the designated outside location. Requirements Previous kitchen porter experience Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification (training given if required) Full, clean UK driving licence Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team Able to follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
