Role: Quality InspectorLocation: Ipswich, SuffolkPay: 18ph+Hours: 40 hours per week (07:00-15:30 (early finish on Friday)Contract: PermanentWe are looking for a Quality Inspector for Precision Engineering department for a Manufacturing firm. If you are a skilled CNC machinist who is looking for a role off the tools, with further training and progression, then this is the role for you.They pride themselves with the best technology to produce top quality, highly durable products, with a high proportion of manufacturing carried out in-house.Ideally you will have previously worked as a machinist and are now looking for your first role off the tools. Further training on quality processes and standards.Inspector duties: -Flag any rejects/rework data by activity, process, department, individual etc.Manage process improvements through liaison with all departmentsLog and monitor quality issuesMonitor and expedite design improvements with the Drawing Office.Monitor and improve jigs used in the manufacturing build process''sInvolved in establishing quality standards for production of new products.Improve and implement process changes to ensure repetitive mistakes are minimizedPerform measurements of all parts requiring checksMaintain gauge calibration status within the organisationPartake in audits when required and report any findings to your supervisorExperience required: -Experience with inspection of machined partsFamiliar with quality testing machines and systemsIndustry ..... full job details .....
