Job Title: Machine Tool Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Walsall, West MidlandsDuration: PermanentSalary: Circa 50,000 per annum (DOE)We are seeking an experienced Machine Tool Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, reliability, and performance of a busy manufacturing environment.This is a hands-on position requiring a broad range of electrical and mechanical maintenance skills. You will be comfortable working in both proactive preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repair situations, managing your workload effectively to ensure machinery availability and operational efficiency.Essential Experience and SkillsCNC Machine Knowledge Strong understanding of Fanuc and Siemens CNC control systems. Experience working on:o 5-axis CNC milling machineso Twin-turret CNC lathesFault Finding and RepairProven experience troubleshooting and repairing: Hydraulic systems Electronic systems CNC software issues Electrical systems Pneumatic systems Mechanical componentsIncluding: Low-voltage control and feedback systems DC drives Linear guide replacement Ball screw replacement Machine levelling and alignmentDesirable Experience Apprentice-trained with a recognised engineering qualification. Minimum of three years'' experience maintaining CNC machine tools. Experience working with:o Horizontal twin-spindle milling machineso Twin-pallet milling machineso Siemens Simatic HMI systems Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
