The company deliver new build residential projects for both the open market and social housing sectors.As the company continues to expand its project portfolio, this is a key opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join the team and take ownership of the design process from early concept through to project completion.The role will include:Ensure Building Regulations are met within the design processEnsure designs are compliant with Planning Conditions placed on the projectPreparing design status reportsCollate and organise technical building information from the Architect, Structural/Civil Engineer and MandE designersMonitor designs for Health and Safety and contributing to risk assessmentsCoordinating detailed design informationPreparing specifications for construction workCoordinating plans and documents for statutory approvalsCoordinating the Design Team in the preparation of conceptual drawingsCoordinating applications for approval by regulatory bodiesChair Design Team meetings with Architects, Structural Engineers and Consultants.Complete review of all project drawings and specifications issuing technical queries were required and ensuring these are fully resolved by the design team including subcontractors with design responsibilityResearching new design processes, building legislation and technologyEnsure timely, ..... full job details .....
