We are working exclusively with a growing, privately owned group based in the West Midlands to appoint a Group Finance Director. This is a senior leadership role with genuine influence, working directly alongside the CEO to shape the strategic and financial direction of the business.The business operates across multiple group companies with a turnover approaching £25M and a strong track record of consistent year-on-year growth. The incoming Group Finance Director will take ownership of all financial activities across the group, ensuring robust controls and compliance while acting as a true commercial partner to the senior leadership team.The RoleReporting directly to the Group CEO, you will be responsible for:Strategic and Commercial Leadership - Lead and implement Group strategy aligned to the owners'' vision; identify growth opportunities, new business initiatives and drive year-on-year financial performance.Stakeholder and Board Relationships - Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, banks and trade associations; provide clear financial reporting and advice to the Board, senior leaders and staff.Financial Controls and Reporting - Own the month-end cycle, consolidated group accounts, balance sheet reviews, cash management, fixed asset registers and intercompany accounting, maintaining strong controls throughout.Compliance and Risk - Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory obligations including statutory accounts, tax compliance, external audit and all ..... full job details .....
