This position and will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and performance of the manufacturing facility based in Newport, South Wales.As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business unit, leading a team of finance professionals, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting standards. This role offers the chance to influence key business decisions and drive financial performance in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Include:Manage the financial accounting and reporting processes in line with company policies and deadlines.Provide early insights into performance gaps through comprehensive financial and operational analysis.Lead the business unit''s financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting.Maintain the integrity of the business unit''s balance sheet and fixed asset register.Act as the key contact for financial matters within the business unit, supporting ad-hoc projects as required.
