A rapidly expanding manufacturing company, supplying into the construction sector and based in Creeting St Peter, Ipswich, are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join their team.This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Salary is 30,000 per annum.Your key duties in this Estimator role will include but are not limited to:Preparing quotations and pricing projects from technical drawingsManaging the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry through to completionSourcing costs from existing and new suppliers and supporting procurementBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customersDeveloping new business opportunities and maintaining commercial awarenessDealing with customer enquiries via telephone, email and in personAttending client meetings, site visits, trade shows and CPD eventsSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:Previous experience in an estimating, sales or commercially focused roleAbility to understand and interpret technical drawingsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExcellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate quotationsCommercially aware with a proactive approach to business developmentGood organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlinesIf you feel like you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this Estimator position, please apply with ..... full job details .....
