Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of supportive schools across Newcastle who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant. These schools are committed to creating engaging learning environments where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential, while staff are supported through strong leadership and inclusive school cultures.

The schools are looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant on a short-term, part-time basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to support teachers across a range of subjects and age groups, deliver small group interventions, and provide classroom support to students across both Primary and Secondary settings. Strong behaviour management and adaptability will be essential for this Teaching Assistant  role.

The successful applicant will have:

HLTA qualification or relevant classroom support qualification

Experience working within UK schools

Experience supporting students across Primary and Secondary settings

Excellent classroom and behaviour management

A proactive and adaptable approach

Strong communication and organisational skills
