The Role As an Adults Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing needs, ensuring protection, and coordinating resources for our clients. Your responsibilities will include: Assessment and Intervention: Assess the need for social work services, including the identification of risk and the need for protection. Determine the appropriate method of intervention. Decide and advise on the use of suitable social services and/or other resources, ensuring clients receive the best possible support package. Case Management and Compliance: Effectively manage and monitor an allocated workload in line with individual and team priorities, and Council policies. Comply fully with all relevant statutory obligations and legislation. Multi-Agency Working: Liaise and negotiate with other professionals, statutory agencies, and voluntary organisations to ensure a seamless and comprehensive service is provided for all clients. Professional Development and Standards: Maintain accurate and appropriate records of work undertaken and carry out all required administrative procedures diligently.
