You ll support the Head of Finance, lead a team of 10 (including Purchase Ledger and a finance apprentice), and work across the wider business to improve reporting, systems, and processes. This is a people-focused role where strong communication, leadership, and system knowledge will make a big impact. What you ll do as the Financial Controller: Team and People Support and mentor the Finance and Purchase Ledger teams Help develop individual team members through coaching and guidance Offer day-to-day support and assist with annual appraisals Work cross-functionally especially with Branch Managers to improve financial understanding and share key reports Build strong working relationships across departments (credit control, payroll, HR, etc.) Accounts and Projects Assist with group ..... full job details .....
