About the Role:
- Teach engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics following the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and experiential learning through practical experiments and theoretical study
- Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that supports and challenges every student
- Employ diverse assessment strategies to track progress and guide lesson planning
- Develop strong partnerships with students, parents, and staff to support overall student development
- Participate in wider school initiatives such as science fairs, interdisciplinary projects, and enrichment programs
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience teaching Science at the secondary level (specific year group expertise is advantageous but not required)
- Reflective and adaptable with strong classroom management skills
- Dedicated to promoting inclusive education, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
- Excellent communicator and proactive collaborator within a team
- Passionate about professional development, innovative teaching, and inspiring future scientists
