Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Leeds, UK (on-site)
Salary: -1418 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 25-30 hours per week

Overview:
An established organisation in Leeds is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accounts Assistant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support senior management. This role offers flexible working hours within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (Sage)
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax filings
• Support payroll processing and pension contributions
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting

Requirements:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
• Proficiency in Sage (experience with SAP is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Familiarity with UK accounting standards and VAT regulations
• AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
