Our education recruitment agency is proud to be working on behalf of a welcoming and specialist SEN school in Altrincham to recruit a committed and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support a pupil with additional needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Supporting the pupil''s social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting resources as needed
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH)
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Be proactive and adaptable in response to individual needs
• Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
