Senior Structural Engineer (Chartered)
Location: Central London
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare sectors. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer seeking greater responsibility, client exposure, and the chance to influence project delivery from concept through to completion.

The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will: 

• Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects.
• Produce calculations, reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Manage projects from feasibility through to construction.
• Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE or MICE).
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience within a UK consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Experience designing structures in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Proficiency with industry-standard structural design software.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
