Backline Avonmouth are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Trunker driver for Wednesday to Friday every week. Start time is fixed at 1330hrs for a single trunk from Avonmouth to Coventry and then return. This is a temp to perm role, if you are interested please apply asap as this is one of the easiest Class 1 driver roles we have available! Key benefits: £16.50 per hour - temp to perm role (single trunk only - every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). We have other HGV work available if you wish to work Mondays and Tuesdays as well. Pension after 3 months.About You: You will have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year Maximum 6 points for minor offences Experience essential A good knowledge and experience of driving Class 1 trucks Ensuring daily vehicle checks and defect reports are completed Liaising with your line manager to communicate any issues relevant to the job Adhering to all relevant road traffic and working time regulations Maintaining accurate driving hours, working time and rest period/break records using the appropriate method (digital tachograph)If you think you''d be a good fit for this position, please apply on Indeed or give us a call on .
