Title: Site Manager - Commercial Fit-Out Location: Manchester - One Medlock Square Salary: £230 - £260 a Day About the Role We are working with a commercial fit-out contractor who is looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a 16-week commercial fit-out project at One Medlock Square in Manchester. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day activities on site from mobilisation through to completion. Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme. Manage site health and safety, ensuring RAMS and site procedures are followed. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics. Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks. Manage snagging and ensure defects are addressed through to completion. Liaise with the client, subcontractors and other project stakeholders. Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, progress reports and relevant documentation. Ensure the project remains on programme and highlight any potential delays or issues.
