A friendly and inclusive specialist school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team as soon as next week. The school provides a safe and nurturing learning environment for some of the most vulnerable children in society, including pupils with learning difficulties, communication challenges, and physical disabilities. In this role, you will help the students develop their confidence, independence, communication and social skills, whilst making school a fun and exciting place to be. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children aged 5 to 16 with a range of needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism and social communication needs, behaviour challenges and sensory impairments. The school places a strong emphasis on emotional well being and social development, weaving these skills into every aspect of the curriculum.
