The role will focus on developing and delivering thought-provoking shows and segments across themes including politics, finance, and mental health.This is an ideal opportunity for a Producer with strong editorial instincts and a background in current affairs or broadcast media, who’s ready to take ownership of content from pitch to publication.What you’ll be doing:Producing original radio or podcast content focused on current affairs, finance and wider societal issuesDeveloping editorial ideas and shaping show structureSourcing and booking credible, relevant contributorsWorking with presenters to script and produce compelling conversationsManaging timelines and ensuring delivery is consistent and to a high standardResponding to the news cycle and emerging themes with fresh ideasWhat they’re looking for:Experience as a Producer in radio, podcasting or editorial environmentsA strong grasp of political, financial and social topicsA network of contacts within media, public affairs or finance is highly desirableStrong editorial judgment and ability to run projects independentlyExcellent communication, organisation and collaboration skillsFamiliarity with live or talk-based formats is a plusIf you''re a thoughtful and resourceful producer with a passion for shaping content that gets people thinking and talking—this could be a brilliant next step.#beSAVVYSeniority level
