Behaviour Support Worker
Empowering Learning are working with a Secondary Special Needs School in Bradford who are seeking Behaviour Support Workers/Sports Coaches to support in their classrooms on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. These roles are to start ASAP and are full time. For the right candidate, these roles are on a Temp to Perm contract.Pay: 110- 150 a day Monday to Friday school hours 8.30 - 3.30pmThe school caters for Secondary pupils supporting Children with Autism and Challenging Behaviours and Mental Health.You will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities. Duties - Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.- Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.- Support students in their academic and social development.- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies. Skills - Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviours.- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.- Strong organizational skills and ..... full job details .....
