We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join a supportive school community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students'' emotional, social, and behavioural development.Key Responsibilities:Provide pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeingWork with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to address social, emotional, and behavioural needsSupport students in overcoming barriers to learning and improving engagementLiaise with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies where appropriateMonitor and track student progress, attendance, and behaviourContribute to the development and implementation of pastoral support plansSupport safeguarding and child protection procedures in line with school policiesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a pastoral or support roleA calm, empathetic, and resilient approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to manage challenging behaviour effectivelyA good understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)A background in psychology, youth work, or education (desirable but not essential)Why Work ..... full job details .....
