The role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Work under the guidance of class teachers and SENCo to support pupils with additional educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting (typically Key Stage 1 and 2).Support children either 1:1 or in small groups, adapting learning materials and activities to suit their needs.Monitor pupil progress, share feedback with the teacher/SENCo and help implement strategies to support learning, behaviour and wellbeing.Promote independence, social skills and positive behaviour in the classroom, playground and other school spaces.Work collaboratively with the school team, parents/carers and external professionals as required.Contribute to creating ..... full job details .....
