GCSE Tutor – Birkenhead

TP Tutors is looking for experienced, confident GCSE Tutors to support learners across Birkenhead in Maths, English and/or Science.

This role is perfect for qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or subject specialists who enjoy working one-to-one with pupils and want to make a meaningful impact outside the traditional classroom.

Many of the learners you’ll support have gaps in learning, reduced confidence, or benefit from personalised teaching. Through tailored sessions, you’ll help pupils rebuild their understanding, strengthen exam technique, and approach their GCSEs with greater confidence.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver 1:1 face-to-face tuition in the pupil’s home or a local community setting in and around Birkenhead

• Adapt lessons to suit each learner’s individual needs and learning pace

• Support pupils preparing for GCSE exams or resits

• Help learners develop confidence, subject knowledge, and exam readiness

You may work with pupils in alternative provisions, those out of mainstream education, or students who simply benefit from additional personalised support.
