Support business success by implementing sales and events plans, driving booking conversion, proactive selling, and creating reasons for customers to visit.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOur People
Deliver service excellence and embody our vision and values to delight customers.Engage with customers as an ambassador for Young''s.Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.Support team members and communicate effectively with all staff.Manage enquiries, bookings, and requests promptly while promoting the business to maximize turnover.Take ownership of personal development and seek opportunities to improve skills.Attend central sales training when required.Our Offer
Assist the General Manager in identifying opportunities, packages, and menus to enhance sales and customer experience.Drive booking enquiries for social and corporate events through outreach, marketing, and networking.Promote seasonal campaigns such as summer parties, sporting events, and Christmas.Use digital marketing, including email campaigns and social media, to boost sales.Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to keep the pub ahead in the marketplace.Understand customer needs and respond appropriately.Maximize sales opportunities across all areas of the business to increase pre-booked sales and spend per head.Our Processes
Manage business performance against financial targets using systems and processes.Develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy to maximize private hire and customer engagement.Support and deliver shift briefings for team communication.Handle tills and deposits in line with standards.Maintain a sales plan and evaluate activities for profitability.Manage inbound bookings efficiently to maximize conversion.Encourage spend through suggestive selling and pre-sold packages.Host face-to-face meetings and tours with customers.Build relationships with new and existing customers and corporate clients.Plan and host events to increase footfall and sales.Values and Behaviours
