We''re hiring a Management Accountant to join a values-driven finance team within a social housing setting. This is a fully remote position, with some travel required to the Peterborough head office for training and key meetings. What you ll be doing: Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, reports, and variance analysis. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, including working directly with managers and budget holders. Performing accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and other ledger tasks. Acting as a business partner to provide clear, actionable financial insights. Contributing to statutory and regulatory reports and developing financial systems and controls. What we re looking for: A qualified accountant (or nearly qualified with strong, relevant experience). Specific experience in social housing, particularly in management accounts. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to analyse a set of accounts with confidence. A proactive mindset with the initiative to investigate issues and improve processes.
